About the Foundation
The Sherman County Community Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Nebraska with perpetual existence. It is qualified as a Section 501(c)(3) charitable foundation entitling donors to tax deductions for Federal Income and Estate Tax purposes. The Foundation is governed by a 12 member volunteer Board of Directors drawn from all communities within Sherman County. Since its inception, several funds have been established by individuals, families, non-profits and businesses for the benefit of the Sherman County area. |
